In fact, I have requested their white paper at least twice, and was assured that it would be emailed to me, and it has yet to arrive. The company website even has a way to request documentation, and so I requested it. All I have are the help files that come with the product, and they are simply inadequate. The product itself seems pretty impressive, but so far I have been unable to use it to its full potential because I have yet to get any sort of comprehensive manual for it. The whole "drinking from a fire hose" thing in regards to information. I tried taking some notes but it was tough. The problem was simply that we had so much information flying at us it was difficult to take it all in. ![]() The guy giving the webinar certainly knew his stuff. I signed up for a web seminar to learn a bit more about it. So we got a license for a server console and 20 laptops. SecureDoc supports Windows-enabled notebooks and desktop PCs, Apple-Mac devices with FileVault 2, Linux, FreeBSD, etc. Hard disk encryption with SecureDoc automates full device encryption. I didn't know much about it but I am certainly willing to try to use the software and learn about it. SecureDoc Enterprise can use existing hardware or native encryption solutions such as BitLocker and FileVault 2. My company wanted to get a new encryption program for its laptops and my boss decided to get WinMagic.
